Tennoji on a rainy day
Tennoji is a vibrant neighborhood in Osaka, known for its shopping, dining, and entertainment options. While it’s a great place to explore on a sunny day, it can be equally as fun to visit on a rainy day. Here are some things to do in Tennoji on a rainy day that will keep you entertained and (hopefully) dry.
- Museums;
- Shopping;
- Onsen/Sento;
- Harukas;
Go to the Harukas building, there are a lot of escalators which you can take up to a certain floor and then end up in a small garden with a nice, free, view of Osaka. There is no roof on the garden so in rainy weather you better just look out of the window instead or use an umbrella.
Also try to take the stairs down when returning from the garden floor, really an experience to be in the tallest building of Japan and taking the stairs down from the highest publicly accessible area hahaha.
