Memrise vs Anki
Two different tools, with two whole different communities. It is honestly kind of difficult to compare these as it is similar to comparing Ramen and Udon. They kind of look the same, but they are not the same at all.
These two tools have been with me ever since I started studying Japanese, one more useful than the other, but they often switch in which one is more useful. It’s really a matter of finding the right solution to the problems you are facing in your own study routine. One warning though, Memrise courses can have quite a few mistakes as they are mostly made by the community, and Anki can consume your time by creating your own decks and customizing it.
